The BioRest®
is an arm stabilization device used in the drawing or
donating of blood and blood products, transfusions,
dialysis, etc. It allows a technician, clinician,
or phlebotomist to position the arm properly to allow a venipuncture from the top of the arm or either side. It
further aids in reducing the incidents of infiltrations
which can result in incomplete product collection or
infusion, lessen the need for double venipunctures, and
provide a more comfortable experience for lengthy
procedures. |
